So Mr. Tolerist, you do not speak out when Muslim immigrants decide to target individual Jews, Jewish institutions, Jewish authors, etc.
Instead you search for some simplistic underlying cause, so you do not have to think.
You think it is rational for the students at York to get all excited when Israel when defends itself against terrorists, but you say nothing when the terrorists have spent the last 8 years in suicide bombing, and rocketing of innocent civilians.
The "occupation" is a term that you lazily adopt so that you do not have to grapple with the really tough questions of Middle Eastern history of the last 60 years, do not have to understand that terrorism pre-dated Israeli control of Gaza and the West Bank, that only started (after a defensive war) in 1967.
The Israelis and the Americans, according to you are the new "colonialists" or "imperialists", but you do not produce scholarly articles, you just hurl epithets.
By fooling yourself that in your Tolerance you represent fairness and goodness, you miss the fact that you are just appeasing what is happening, by refusing to make a choice....the idiotic slur of "a pox on both their houses" is the tell-tale sign of someone who refuses to choose, because of laziness or moral confusion or both.
To all who are feeling morally superior because Israel has to take action to protect its citizens and we still have, in your view, a few years before we face the same, you are my enemy, you are the facilitators of evil, by refusing to choose good over evil, like the Lotos Eaters in Tennyson's great poem.
Neil Peart of Rush figured you a long time ago...."If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice"
Here is the great song, Free Will:

FREE WILL by Rush (words by Neil Peart, music by Gedi Lee and Alex Lifeson)
There are those who think that life has nothing left to chance take,
A host of holy horrors to direct our aimless dance.
A planet of playthings,
We dance on the strings
Of powers we cannot perceive
"The stars aren't aligned,
Or the gods are malign..."
Blame is better to give than receive.
Chorus
You can choose a ready guide in some celestial voice.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.
You can choose from phantom fears and kindness that can kill;
I will choose a path that's clear
I will choose freewill.
There are those who think that they were dealt a losing hand,
The cards were stacked against them; they weren't born in Lotusland.
All preordained
A prisoner in chains
A victim of venomous fate.
Kicked in the face,
You can't pray for a place
In heaven's unearthly estate.
Chorus
Each of us
A cell of awareness
Imperfect and incomplete.
Genetic blends
With uncertain ends
On a fortune hunt that's far too fleet.
Chorus
